McLuhan impact on book culture studied on Day Four at Frankfurt Fair – 17 Oct, 2011

18Oct11

A special presentation celebrating the centennial of Canadian media philosopher Marshall McLuhan was made on the fourth day of the Frankfurt Book Fair. An ‘Open Studio’ surveyed guests in a live, participatory and mobile zone to explore the impact of McLuhan’s thinking on the enormous revolutions taking place within and beyond the book culture. Rare archival video material from the Embassy of Canada’s McLuhan Salon was also available for viewing. http://tinyurl.com/3apk5np
