Barcelona 2011, MAY 23-25

Structured into thematic sessions, the conferences, presentations and round tables will count on the presence of international researchers such as Manuel Castells, Eric McLuhan, Derrick de Kerckhove, Robert K. Logan, Javier Echeverria, Alejandro Piscitelli, Ursula Heise, Javier Díaz Noci, Carlos A. Scolari and Bruce Powe, among others.

McLuhan Galaxy Barcelona 2011 will be held in the 22@ Barcelona, Innovation District, either in the Campus of Communication (UPF), in the IN3/UOC’s Mediatic building (Metro Glories) or in the CCCB. The activities developed in the latter will be open to public and simultaneous translation will be available.

The Call for Papers opens on December 1st, 2010 and closes on January 7, 2011.

Researchers can apply by sending an extended abstract in English with a maximum extension of two (2) pages. More information about the thematic sessions, papers’ submission and inscriptions can be found in the official webpage of the event: www.mcluhangalaxy.net
